The Picton Town Hall Farmers Market is a Registered Non-Profit market held every Sunday in May-October from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 2 Ross Street in Picton, across from Benson Park.
The Picton Farmers' Market operates on the historical land of the Anishinaabe and the Haudenosaunee people and is one of the oldest farmers markets in Ontario. Its current iteration was revived in 2020 by the Picton Town Hall Management Board which passed on the duties of management to the working group at the end of 2021. Since then, the Picton Farmers' Market has grown from 12 vendors to more than 40.
The Market's 2026 season is set to begin on May 10th and will run for 25 weeks through to October 25th, culminating in a Fall Harvest Market at Picton's Crystal Palace on November 8th.
This market is currently managed by Kate Van Rijn under the direction of theworking group comprising a mix of both vendors and volunteers:

The composition of this group has evolved a lot since the revival of the market in 2020, and we are looking to grow and diversify its membership. If you are interested in participating and volunteering to be on the board, we would love to hear from you.
