About Us

The Picton Town Hall Farmers Market is held every Sunday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM through the summer season.  It is located at 2 Ross Street in Picton, on the historical land of the Anishinaabe and the Haudenosaunee people.

It is historically one of the oldest Farmers Market in Ontario, and its new iteration was revived in 2020 by the Picton Town Hall Management Board of Management.  The board permanently passed on the duties of management to the working group at the end of 2021.

It has since grown from 12 vendors to more than 45.   The 2024 Season is set to begin on May 19th and will run to October 27th, and a Spring and Fall Harvest Market at the Crystal Palace are also in the works.

This market is currently managed by PECMI under the direction of the working group, which is currently made of vendors and volunteers, and consists of:

Lucas Sorbara of Edwin County Farm
Robert Geatrix of Elmbrook Farm
Hans Ning of Paper Kite Farm
Maria Hristova of Kinsip Distillery
Jordan Malka of Beacon Bike + Brew

The composition of this group has evolved a lot since the revival of the market in 2020, and we are looking to grow and diversify its membership.  If you are interested in participating and volunteering to be on the board, we would love to hear from you.

We also express our gratitude to past volunteers, including, but not limited to:
